The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and Systems Technology Group, Inc. will host another one of the Chamber’s popular “one-minute networking events” from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. STG is located at 3218 Lake Shore Road in Blasdell.
The event is open to both Chamber members and nonmembers, and reservations are required. Light refreshments will be provided.
This is the first time the Chamber will hold one of its networking meetings outside of West Seneca. Approximately 25 percent of the Chamber’s membership is located outside of the 14224 zip code.
“These casual networking events are very popular among our members and guests, and we’ve recently started taking them to member locations to give our participants a change of scenery and an opportunity to visit some businesses that they may have never entered before,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “At these meetings, participants have approximately one minute to introduce themselves and give a brief update on their business or organization as we go around the room. And, we’ve seen several new business relationships and transactions come out of past meetings.”
In addition to having a one-minute spotlight, attendees will have extra time to network with other business and organizational leaders following the meeting. Participants are invited to bring business cards and/or promotional items to share with other guests.
