Three outstanding local speakers will highlight the 2021 Women In Business event presented by the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. Previously held as an annual luncheon, the event was canceled last year due to the pandemic and this year will be held via the Zoom platform.
Featured speakers during the free Zoom event, to take place from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, include Dr. Susan McCartney, director of the Small Business Development Center at SUNY Buffalo State; Jennifer Jurek, a Certified Financial Planner with Sgroi Financial; and Rosanna Berardi, managing partner of Berardi Immigration Law and founder and CEO of High Wire Woman.
Each speaker will offer a 10-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A period. McCartney will speak on services provided by the Small Business Development Center and programs that benefit women-owned businesses, while Jurek will offer financial and retirement planning tips. Berardi will discuss High Wire Woman and how it was created to help working women live their lives in a simpler way and take back their most precious commodity: their time.
Registration is required for the event. To RSVP, please call the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce at 674-4900 and leave your name, phone number and email address, or email
