Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, continues on Thursday, July 21. The weekly event takes place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings through Sept. 1 on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall.
The outdoor venue features approximately 25 vendors selling a wide variety of products. Meals on Wheels WNY will host the market’s community group table on July 21. For entertainment, the market will host an “open jam session” where anyone can stop by from 4 to 7 p.m. and play for fun and tips. The market’s Family Fun Zone features several games for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.
Just steps away from the market, the Dean Bell Band will perform at the Lion Club bandshell beginning at 7 p.m. Come for the market and stay for the music!
While some picnic tables are provided at the market, guests are invited to bring a blanket or chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a leash. The market is rain or shine; in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the market moves into the parking lot in front of the West Seneca Ice Rink.
