Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, continues on Thursday, June 16, with its annual Kids’ Day celebration! The weekly event takes place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings through Sept. 1 on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall.
The outdoor venue features approximately 25 vendors selling a wide variety of products. GA Family Services will host the market’s community group table on June 16, while Abigail Creighton will provide musical entertainment from approximately 5:30 to 7 p.m. The market’s new Family Fun Zone features several games for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.
Also as part of Kids’ Day, several members of the Buffalo Bandettes will stop by at 5 p.m. to play games with young guests in the Family Fun Zone. Other highlights will include face-painting, a coloring contest and more!
While some picnic tables are provided, guests are invited to bring a blanket or chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a leash. The market is rain or shine; in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the market moves into the parking lot in front of the West Seneca Ice Rink.
