West Seneca’s outdoor farmers’ market returns on May 12

Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, will return for its third season on Thursday, May 12. The weekly event will take place on Thursday evenings through Sept. 1 on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall.

The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will host the market’s community group table on May 12, while entertainment will feature Porcelain Train from approximately 5:30 to 7 p.m. Several members of the Buffalo Bandettes will also be stopping by from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and the market’s new Family Fun Zone will feature several fun family games.

Guests are invited to bring a blanket or chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved dogs are allow on a leash. The market is rain or shine; in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the market moves into the parking lot in front of the West Seneca Ice Rink.
