Christmas in the Country Artisan Market celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year with two full weekends of holiday shopping!

One of Western New York’s most beloved holiday traditions is getting even bigger. Christmas in the Country Artisan Market celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year with two full weekends of holiday shopping featuring hundreds of talented artisans; unique handmade gifts; delicious food, wine and spirits; and plenty of holiday magic!

The popular event returns to the Hamburg Fairgrounds Nov. 5-8 and Nov. 13-15, giving shoppers more opportunities than ever to discover one-of-a-kind gifts and handcrafted treasures.

With more than 400 artisans showcased across five buildings, Christmas in the Country offers something for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Shoppers will find beautiful home décor, distinctive jewelry, aromatic candles, children’s toys and clothing, pottery, original artwork, gourmet foods, pet gifts, holiday décor and much more — all created by talented artisans.

And with two weekends comes an incredible variety of new artists and makers! The first weekend will feature more than 40 new artisans, while the second weekend will introduce more than 150 new artisans, joining more than 200 artisans returning for the second weekend.

“We are very excited for two weekends this year,” said Dan Kaczynski of Premier Promotions. “We now have the opportunity to showcase so many new artisans, especially during the second weekend. The event was simply too large to include everyone, and our patrons have always asked us to bring in more new artisans. This allows us to do just that!”

In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy tastings from some of the area’s finest wineries and distilleries, while the Food Truck Rodeo will offer plenty of delicious options when it’s time to take a break and refuel.

Specially priced presale tickets for individual weekends, as well as combination tickets for both weekends, will be available beginning Wednesday, Oct. 21 at select Western New York businesses and online. Visit www.wnypremierpromotions.com for ticket information, participating locations and event details. Complimentary return passes will be available only for the weekend corresponding to the purchased ticket.

And there’s another reason to feel good about your holiday shopping: Christmas in the Country gives back to the community! This year’s event will benefit several local nonprofit organizations including The P.U.N.T. Foundation, Hamburg Eden Animal Rescue Team (H.E.A.R.T.), Variety – The Children’s Charity of Buffalo and Hamburg Presbyterian Church.
